Bear Creek has rose several feet above the first crossing from the Interstate on RR 2291.

Copperas Creek is flooding as well.

Both RR 2291, and RR 1674 are closed until further notice.

Please use caution while driving. Turn around, don’t drown.

**Recovered Stolen Fi****ms**

The Kimble County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division located 5 rifles that had been stolen during two burglaries that occurred in late 2025. One burglary suspect is currently in Federal Custody. The investigation into the burglaries is ongoing.

The Kimble County Sheriff's Office is always glad to return stolen property, in this case five beautiful rifles, to their rightful owners.

Kimble County has taken possession of four cows found near Ranch Road 1221 and US Highway 377. We contacted multiple landowners in the area but were unable to identify the owner.
If you have information regarding ownership, please contact us at (325) 446-2766.
The cattle have been reported as estray and are being held accordingly until the owner is located or they are sold at auction on a date after April 17.
