Juneau's weather is cooperating for some paving! Tonight, May 30th, our contractor will be milling and paving at the Egan and Yandukin (Fred Meyer) intersection between 7 PM and 7 AM. The following traffic revisions will be in place:

- 7 PM to 9 PM: Only one lane of traffic will be open in both north and southbound directions on Egan Drive.
- 9 PM to 7 AM: There will be no northbound access on Egan Drive. Traffic will be detoured at the Sunny Point overpass onto Old Glacier Highway to access Egan Drive and bypass construction.
- No left turns: No left turns will be allowed north or southbound from Egan Drive onto Yandukin Drive or Old Glacier Highway.
Complete access to Egan Drive will be reopened at 7 AM.

The purpose of the work is to construct improved pavement markings for better visual guidance. The contractor will mill out existing inlaid pavement markings, paving, immediately followed by painting the new striping pattern. After a cure time for applying permanent markings to new pavement, the temporary painted markings will be replaced with permanent inlaid markings. All work on this project is expected to be complete by the end of June.

The safety of the traveling public and workers is our main concern. Please follow designated traffic revisions and never enter a work zone.
