After nearly 350 hours of cumulative meeting time and over 80 edits in response to public input, the 2021 Governor's Task Force on Broadband has concluded. Thank you to all of our members and contributing stakeholders!

The report will be available to the public in approximately one week after layout and graphic design work is complete at gov.alaska.gov/broadband.

Recently, Lieutenant Governor Kevin Meyer and the governor's special assistant, Bill Thomas, traveled to Seattle to welcome TSGT Alfred "Freddy" Turgeon of Cordova home nearly 80 years after he gave his life for his country during WW2. They had the honor of meeting his family, including his sister Joan, who saw Freddy for the last time when she was just 7 years old.

Freddy will be formally laid to rest this August.
