UAS Library and Juneau Public Libraries are partnering with CBJ Parks & Recreation's Walk Southeast and Juneau AARP to offer a Walk to the Library (one a month May-August) All ages welcome for a walk to a library for snacks and an assortment of walking/hiking titles before returning to cars. Start and end location to be determined.

Wednesday, June 17 Walk to UAS Library 10a-12noon
For UAS Library Walk, meet at Auke Lake Trail (Goat Hill Road trailhead)
Wednesday, July 29 Walk to Valley Library 10am-12noon
Friday, August 21 Walk to Douglas Library 10am-12noon

The library and UAS campus are closing early today. Stay safe!

🔺 UAS Juneau Campus closing today, March 3 at 5 PM 🔺

Due to expected heavy snow accumulation and unsafe conditions this evening, the Juneau Campus will close at 5 PM today, Tuesday, March 3. This includes all campus offices, the Egan Library, and the Recreation Center.

Students & Faculty: Online and hybrid classes should continue in their remote format. In-person classes that are able to pivot to an online format for the evening should do so at the discretion of the faculty member. Students should check Blackboard and their UAS email for additional details.

Juneau campus residential students: You will receive direct communication regarding dining options.

We will continue to monitor conditions this evening and overnight. If additional closure is needed tomorrow, we will notify the Juneau campus community by 6:30 AM on Wednesday, March 4.
