📢 A Message from SK2 Roundtree – Thank You & Transition Update

Good day everyone,

My name is SK2 Roundtree, and two years ago, I created this page to help shed light on the housing challenges in Southeast Alaska and to connect landlords and property managers with our incoming Coast Guard members as they transferred to the region.

Since then, I have been honored to manage this page and handle 99% of the communication between property owners and service members. It’s been a privilege to assist in securing hundreds of homes for Coast Guard men and women arriving in Alaska.

As I now prepare to transfer to a new unit, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported this effort — whether you shared a listing, sent a message, or offered a rental to one of our members.

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be training my replacement and their supervisors on how this page operates. If you’ve been waiting for a response, we kindly ask for your patience during this transition period. The learning curve is real, but they are in good hands.
