Standing STRONG when the storm hits! ⚡️
When last month’s severe weather knocked out our local power, it was a reminder of how fragile things can be out here! We came dangerously close to losing thousands of dollars of fresh meat, milk, and produce meant for families in our community.

To safeguard our food supply and keep our distributions running no matter what the weather throws at us, we urgently need a reliable backup generator.
The total amount we will need is $7,000. We already have a discount from two local businesses and a generous $5,000 community donation. 🤩

Let’s protect our pantry 🙌 together!
When those severe storms rolled through last month and knocked out the local grid, we came incredibly close to losing thousands of dollars of fresh milk, meat, and produce meant for our community.

We never want to face a day when we have to turn someone away just because the power is out. To protect our food supply and keep the doors open no matter the weather, we urgently need an emergency backup generator.

The total cost is $18,000. We have gotten a discount of $6,000 from local businesses.

Our Community Garden volunteers had a Student Garden Workday on Thursday. Thank you Dodgeland School District! We had 7 students, along with their teacher, assist with preparing the bins, planting beet seeds and potato cuttings. 🤩

The group harvested the asparagus and prepared it for pantry distribution. Each student planted a tomato in a pot to take with them. 👏

This student involvement experience has reached its 5th year and the experiences that have been shared are priceless! 😍
