We're joining with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in celebrating the 50th anniversary of client rights law in Wisconsin. Client rights ensure the dignified treatment of people receiving services for a developmental disability, mental health, and/or substance use. They foster a collaborative relationship between clients and care staff, improving treatment and leading to positive outcomes. Thank you to client rights professionals across Wisconsin and all service providers who uphold client rights and treat everyone with respect: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/clientrights/index.htm

๐Ÿ“ฃ Randolph friends โ€” we need your help! ๐Ÿ’™

With school starting back up, are you finding yourself with a little extra free time during the day?

We are desperately looking for volunteers to help deliver lunches to our Home Delivered Meal participants in the Randolph/Fox Lake area. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

We have three incredibly dedicated volunteers who have covered the schedule all summer, and weโ€™d love to give them some much-deserved relief โ€” especially on Mondays and Fridays!

๐Ÿš— Mileage is reimbursed at the standard IRS reimbursement rate.

And the best part? We are very flexible! Whether you can help one day a month, once a week, or somewhere in between, we are grateful for anything youโ€™re willing and able to provide.

Itโ€™s a simple way to give back to members of our community, make someoneโ€™s day, and help ensure our Home Delivered Meal participants receive the meals and friendly connection they count on. โค๏ธ

If youโ€™re interested or would like more information, please give us a call at 920-386-3580.

Please share this post and help us spread the word! ๐Ÿ™

Do You Provide Private Caregiving or In-Home Services?

The ADRC is creating a new resource, Helping Hands, a chore services list to connect individuals in our community with private individuals who offer caregiving, in-home, and household services for private pay.

Weโ€™re looking for individuals who provide services such as:

๐Ÿ  Housekeeping
๐Ÿ› Bathing and personal care
๐Ÿ›’ Grocery shopping and errands
๐ŸŒฑ Lawn care and yard work
โ„๏ธ Snow removal
๐Ÿ”จ Home repairs and handyman services
๐Ÿ’ฌ Companion care and socialization
And other in-home or household services

Please note: We are looking for private individuals, not agencies. A background check is required for anyone added to the list.

Services, availability, and rates are arranged directly between the provider and the individual seeking help.

Interested in being added to the Helping Hands List? Contact the ADRC at 920-386-3580 or [email protected] for more information.
