Ever wonder why it can be hard to see construction activity in the project area?

Right now, much of the work is happening below ground. Crews are actively constructing the substructure of the future UPRR bridge which forms the foundation for the bridge. This is a critical portion of the Stage 1 construction.

While progress may not always be visible from the roadway, significant work is taking place beneath the surface to prepare for the bridge above.

🇺🇸 Construction activities for the Jurupa Road Grade Separation Project will pause Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Work is scheduled to resume Tuesday, May 26.

Crews are finalizing the layout for the UPRR bridge girders, marking an important step forward in construction. This work ensures each girder will be placed in the correct position, setting the stage for the next phase of building the bridge.
