While many residents were asleep, Jurupa Valley deputies remained on patrol keeping our community safe. During the overnight hours, deputies conducted a DUI investigation resulting in an arrest for driving under the influence.

Driving impaired puts everyone on the road at risk. If you plan on drinking or using substances that impair your ability to drive, make a plan ahead of time — use a rideshare, designate a sober driver, or call someone for a safe ride home.

One poor decision can change lives forever. Please drive responsibly and help keep our roads safe.

Congratulations to Deputies Packer, Schwartz, Chavez, Rodriguez, and Buenrostro on being recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving with MADD Awards for their outstanding efforts in DUI enforcement and traffic safety.

These awards recognize the deputies’ commitment to removing impaired drivers from our roadways and helping prevent tragedies caused by drunk and impaired driving. Their proactive work and dedication continue to make Jurupa Valley, Eastvale, and Norco safer for everyone who travels through our communities.

As National Police Week comes to an end, we extend our deepest gratitude to the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities with courage, professionalism, and sacrifice each day. We also honor and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, including our own Deputy Timothy Corlew, who was honored this week at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service in Washington, D.C.

Their service, dedication, and legacy will never be forgotten. 💙

Yesterday, members of our station came together to observe the National Day of Prayer. We are thankful for the opportunity to pause, reflect, and pray alongside one another as we continue serving our communities with dedication and purpose.
