The Justin EDC/CDC has a new open space in Old Town at 5th Street & Sealy Avenue, and now comes the fun part... imagining what it could become! 🙌

We’ve got the space! Now we need your ideas!

The Justin EDC/CDC recently acquired the property in Old Town at the corner of 5th Street and Sealy Avenue. The board purchased with one idea in mind: an open space for gathering in Old Town.

So, naturally, we asked our good friend AI to help us get the ideas flowing and come up with some fun renderings.

The concepts in these graphics are just that, concepts! Nothing has been decided, designed, or planned.

We simply wanted to imagine a few possibilities and ask:
🎤 Could it be a stage for live music?
🧺 A place to picnic and gather?
🎬 An outdoor movie night spot?
🎨 Public art?
🌳 A shady place to relax?
❓ Or something completely different?

💙 A Little Community Challenge… THINK Before You Post 💙

We are fortunate to live in a country and community that values freedom of expression, we are privileged to share diverse perspectives and opinions while maintaining respect and kindness towards one another. We may not always agree but when we listen to one another, show respect, focus on facts, and work toward solutions instead of arguments, we ALL win and so does Justin, TX!

Before posting, commenting, or sharing in a community group, please ask yourself:

🤔 Will this help better our community?
📚 Is it factual or simply my opinion?
❤️ Is it respectful?
🔥 Will it create productive conversation or just another argument/debate?

While opinions and healthy debates have their place, social media may not be the ideal platform for such discussions. Perhaps personal pages are better suited for these conversations or schedule in person conversations to get to know your community members (who knows, you may have more in common than you realize and become friends).

Let's ALL strive to minimize unnecessary stress and drama in our lives. Instead, let's utilize our community pages to educate, inspire, celebrate, support local initiatives, and promote the positive aspects of Justin!

Imagine how much stronger our community could be if we spent less time arguing about our differences and more time working together to find solutions, supporting one another, celebrating the good, and making Justin even better.
Let’s keep Justin a place we're ALL proud to call home. 🏡💙
