57th Maui Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol Volunteers serving America’s communities, saving lives, and shaping futures. Air Force and as such is a member of its Total Force.

57th Maui County Composite Squadron of of , Established in 1941, Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the U.S. In its auxiliary role, CAP operates a fleet of 555 single-engine aircraft and 2,250 small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) and performs about 90% of all search and rescue operations within the contiguous United States as tasked by the Air Force

Rescue Coordination Center. Often using innovative cellphone forensics and radar analysis software, CAP was credited by the AFRCC with saving 108 lives last year. CAP’s 56,000 members also perform homeland security, disaster relief, and drug interdiction missions at the request of federal, state, and local agencies. As a nonprofit organization, CAP plays a leading role in aerospace education using national academic standards-based STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education resources. Members also serve as mentors to over 23,000 young people participating in CAP’s Cadet Programs.

Airlift/drill weekend is Back. It’s been 3 yrs since last one because of the COVID shut down. We are Taking the cadets over for cadet competition at Hawaii Wing, Civil Air Patrol along with glider orides and a visit to the space force facility.

On Saturday - December 17, 2022 at 12:00 pm, Maui Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol (HI0028P) will be helping the Maui Veterans Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance Wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

MCCS 057 is back live at squadron for a couple weeks now and what a way to kick things off by sharing our awards and promotions evening! Ours cadets worked hard at their achievements and nothing gives more pleasure than to recognize each of them along with their families. Our future leaders are off to a AMAZING start and we are certainly very proud of them!!
