I read for my mind. I create art and music for my spirit. And I exercise regularly for my body. It is a good thing to test the limits of ability by tackling hard ideas, working on difficult and tedious projects, and getting out there and doing hard things. This will be marathon #5 if all goes well on Sunday. Whatever the outcome I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. :). Have a great weekend!

Kanikapila is an impromptu jam session of Hawaiian music. Our little group is starting to learn songs they like to listen to (an odd mix of popular music from their generation and mine), practicing chord fingerings and strumming. Eventually we’d like to have a bunch of songs including Hawaiian standards we can jam together, but for now, we enjoy learning to play ukulele together.
