In celebration of Lei Day, we honor the special colors, flowers, and lei that represent each of the Hawaiian Islands. These cherished symbols connect us to the unique beauty, history, and spirit of each island in our pae ʻāina.

From Oʻahu’s golden ʻilima to Hawaiʻi Island’s vibrant lehua, every lei tells a story of place, culture, and aloha.

Our Kainalu keiki need a little shade (and maybe shelter from the rain!) for Hōʻike and Field Day. ☀️🌧️⛺

We’re still looking for families who can lend 10x10 pop-up tents to help keep students safe, cool, and dry while they perform, wait, and cheer on their classmates.

If you can provide a tent—or help with set-up or take-down—please email your child’s teacher as soon as possible.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Maker’s Market on Tuesday, May 12 from 1:00–3:00 PM at Kainalu Elementary. Students will be selling handmade products, tasty treats, and refreshing beverages.
