Aloha Parents! Mark your calendars for 6:00 PM on February 1! Our is holding their monthly general meeting in our Art room in the LC and all parents are welcomed and encouraged to come! Mr. Fraser will join and discuss emergency protocols and other important topics. Heads up to our parents of rising 7th graders, is hosting a new parent registration orientation on February 1 from 5:30-6:30. We are so thankful for these opportunities to engage within our community and school administration. We look forward to seeing you there! Mahalo!

What a way to make rainbows out of rain!! A massive MAHALO NUI LOA, for allowing our students to perform our winter concert for our families last night. The night was filled with merriment, laughter, and massive talent. Our hearts were filled to the brim to hear from Payton Cosier, founder of and her mission to bring joy to children in Waimanalo for Christmas! Over 600 toys were donated by our amazing families. To say Ka’ōhao is grateful to partner with this holiday season and be welcomed without hesitation by is a understatement. Our show would not have happened without your aloha and generosity. Mahalo to the faculty, staff, custodians and parents that rallied for the Ka’ōhao Winter Concert to happen! We are grateful. Happy Holidays!

We had a beautiful ceremony this morning dedicating the mural created by some of our 5th and 6th grade students, local artist Leanna Wolff and guided by Kumu Lilinoe. This mural captures a key part of the story for our oli 'O Kailua. Uncle Kīhei and Aunty Māpuana de Silva joined for the dedication and left us grounded and full of gratitude for this āina that we call Ka’ōhao, our home.

Mahalo Nui to for hosting Ka’ōhao Sports Academy for your friendship tournament! It was awesome to watch our 4th-6th Ka’ōhao students come together, have fun, learn something new and represent our school with great sportsmanship! Mahalo to our coaches, Coach Dana and Coach Mackenzie for all your support!🏐

Heads up Ka’ōhao Ohana! The first ever Ka’ōhao International Festival is postponed due to inclement weather forecasted. Save the date for the new date, January 20, 2024! We are so excited get to explore multiple countries and their winter traditions! It’s not too late to sign up and share your culture at Ka’ōhao!
