Healthy Babies Healthy Start Healthy Babies Healthy Start (HBHS) aims to decrease infant mortality rates and eliminate racial disparities in maternal and infant health in Kalamazoo.

Our goal is to give one on one support to women who are pregnant and live within the 49001, 49006, 49007, and 49048 zip codes. Through FREE educational opportunities such as New Parenting classes, Breastfeeding classes, Nutrition & Meal planning, and Addiction support we hope to decrease infant mortality rates and eliminate racial disparities in maternal and infant health in Kalamazoo.

Join us on May 12th at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 5:30pm - 7:00pm for our Community Listening Session! This space is dedicated to birthing people and families to share their stories in the Kalamazoo healthcare systems; fostering connection and driving meaningful change.
