Having lived in the Kalamazoo and surrounding area for many years, I take pride in the fact the some of the greatests mandolins, guitars, banjos, steel guitars, ukuleles, and amplifiers were built in Kalamazoo Mich. This tradition continues today at 225 Parsons Street, where The Heritage Guitar company resides. I was saddened to see the deplorable condition of "The Stack" The "Gibson" Smokestack w

hich still stands today....for now anyway. Not only is the stack a part of Kalamazoo history, just as important it's part of musical history. It needs to be restored and saved
