Kalamazoo County Hazardous Materials Response Team The team is working on becoming credentialed as NFPA 472 Ch.7 Hazmat Technicians

KCHMRT is designed as a support unit to provide 24-hour coverage seven days a week. As a support unit, the team operates under the direct authority of the on-scene Incident Commander. If requested, the team may provide technical guidance to an Incident Commander on-scene by phone.
