That’s a wrap on another FUN Back 2 Basics Elementary Camp! A huge thank you to Coach Elexis Buchanan, her family, her team of high schoolers, and the former players she has coached who chose to spend part of their summer with us at camp! Your time, energy, encouragement, and willingness to give back made a positive impact on our young people. We also want to thank every parent and guardian who trusted us with their youth, as well as everyone who donated to help make this camp possible.

And a very special shoutout to Coach Lexx! She continues to show up for our community, challenge our kids to get at least 1% better every day, and creates an environment where learning, growth, and FUN are always at the center of the experience. We couldn’t appreciate you more for the love you continue to pour into our young people. Thank you for being a champion for our kids and this community!

We’re grateful to Sunbelt Rentals and Planet Fitness for generously donating school supplies to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo!

As our Club members begin a new school year, these supplies help ensure they have the tools they need to feel prepared, confident, and ready to succeed. As our young people headed back to school today, we wanted to reflect on our recent "Hair Help" event this past weekend with Brittany McCone and her crew! Thanks to this amazing team, our youth were able to walk into the new school year feeling good, looking good, and ready to take on whatever comes their way.

Thank you to each volunteer who donated their time, talent, and energy to support the young people in our community.

We hope this school year is filled with many opportunities, much growth, and plenty of success for all youth!

To help start the new school year strong, AT&T and Human-I-T provided Macbooks and backpacks filled with school supplies to the top 100 Club teen attendees, ensuring they have access to the tools they need for school, learning, creativity, and future success. This giveaway recognized students for their strong participation and commitment by consistently showing up at the Club.

A huge thank you to both of these organizations for making sure our members stay connected to educational resources, complete school work, and build digital skills! We also appreciate Mayor David Anderson and Deputy Chief David Boysen for finding the time in their busy schedules to stop by to share a few words in support of our members!

Thank you to Nulty Insurance Agency for sponsoring two of our teams at the Gus Macker tournament last weekend in Otsego. It was a fun weekend of basketball, and we were even able to bring home some hardware! Memories like this last a lifetime for our Club members!

That's a wrap on another fun filled Summer with the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre for our Summer Arts Spectacular program. Each year, this skilled group of young performers amazes us with their talent and determination to the art of theatre to produce a SPECTACULAR showcase!

This program wouldn't be what it is today without the expertise, passion, and patience for pouring into our youth that the staff at The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre bring to the table. We truly couldn't do this without them and are always so grateful for their willingness to help our youth discover their hidden talents. We're already looking forward to next year!

Today we dropped of waters, Gatorade and snacks to the Back 2 Basics basketball camp with Coach Lexx and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo.

We appreciate the hard-work and dedication Coach Lexx puts in our with student athletes! She cares and has designed her camps around the total athlete!
