Julie Rogers for State Senate I am running for the open seat in the 19th Senate District in 2026 I am also a practicing physical therapist.

I am serving in my third term as a State Representative for Michigan’s 41st District which includes parts of the Cities of Kalamazoo and Portage as well as Kalamazoo Township and Comstock. I am the current State Rep for House District 60, running for re-election in the newly drawn 41st HD. I serve as an Assistant Democratic Floor Leader, Democratic VC of the Military, Veterans, & Homeland Security Committee, Financial Services Com, Appropriations Com, Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy Approps sub-committee, House Democrats' Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Planning Committee and co-chair of the legislative Arts & Culture Caucus. My priority is the health and wellbeing of Kalamazoo County.

Today, October 19 is the last day to request an absentee ballot online. This option was a great policy Secretary Benson instituted, and my legislation codified it into law.

Today is the last day to register online or by mail to vote in the Nov. 3 General Election.

Citizens can still register in person at their city or township clerk’s office with proof of residency, even on Election Day.

Thank you for everyone who turned out tonight to support reproductive health for Planned Parenthood of Michigan! With the federal administration defunding Medicaid, our health centers are suffering mightily.

Not enough candidates are talking about reproductive health care this election cycle, in my humble opinion. And just because abortion is legal in Michigan does not mean it’s getting funded or that individuals have access when they need care. We must continue to support repro health champions who will fight for access. Thank you to my campaign team for joining me tonight!
