Waikoloa road fire 10 July 2026, Volunteer Co.7 Bravo & 9 Bravo responded with other West Hawaii HFD units, windy conditions to work with but we all pushed on to hold the fire line, great work by Chopper2 pilot.

Aloha, Due to damage to the kitchen area at the palisades Pavilion from the Kona Low storm we won’t be doing the 4th of July Pancake Breakfast this year, But we are able to use other areas at the pavilion, so we will be doing lunch this year,

🚒 Hawai‘i Fire Department reminds the public:
✅ Stay in the kitchen while cooking
✅ Keep anything flammable away from the stove
✅ Use a timer to help monitor cooking
✅ Turn pot handles inward to prevent spills
✅ Keep children and pets away from hot surfaces
✅ If you leave the kitchen — turn off the stove

⚠️ If a small grease fire starts:
• Turn off the heat if safe to do so
• Cover the pan with a lid
• NEVER use water on a grease fire

🧯 Working smoke alarms save lives. Make sure your home alarms are tested monthly and have fresh batteries.
