Check out all the fun that students had on the 100th day of school. The kindergarten students were secret agents all day as they worked through their missions to find 0 the hero so they could make 100! The PTO hid 100 pictures of Mrs. Stechschulte around the school for the students to find, and Mrs. Recker's class engaged in fun activities. Many other classes made silly 100th-day hats and worked on 100th-day activities. We are now 100 days smarter!

Random Acts of Kindness Week will be held February 9-12. Attached are the themes and dress-up days. Students will participate in several activities during the week that promote kindness.

🎄✨ Our 3rd & 4th grade students showed the true spirit of the season by giving back to our community this December! Our 3rd graders worked hard delivering and sorting food at the food pantry, while our 4th graders spread joy at The Meadows by delivering bingo prize items, helping with a craft, and caroling while passing out handmade cards to residents. 💝🎶

We are so proud of these students for their kindness, generosity, and servant hearts. This is what the season is all about—giving back and spreading joy. ❤️🎄

Christmas came early to KES! We’re thrilled to announce that Kalida Elementary has been awarded a $5,000 STEM Classroom Grant through the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN), funded by Battelle! Our project, “STEMcats,” will introduce different types of robots to the students of Kalida Elementary. The students will learn how to program these robots while using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

What an amazing Christmas Program! 🎄 Thank you to Mr. Litwiller for the performances by the 4th, 5th, & 6th graders! Thank you to Mr. Roney for the 3rd & 4th grade percussion! Thank you to Mrs. Schweiterman for the Elf Impersonator program by the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders. What a great way to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. 🎅🏻

Hello December! A few announcements:

1.) There will be dress-up days each Friday of December that students can participate in! This Friday, Dec. 5th, is Team Santa vs. Team Elf. Wear a Red or White shirt for team Santa or a Green shirt for team Elf.

2.) The PTO is selling Wildcat Blankets that will arrive before Christmas! See the shared post below for details.

3.) A Holly Jolly Widcat shirt is on sale through Dec. 4th. (This is not a fundraiser, but a way to spread some Wildcat Christmas cheer.)
