I took a couple hours off work to attend the recount and we all can acknowledge the hard work of our election officials and the integrity of our elections and democracy as the tally remained the same. Thank you AGAIN Kalispell Ward 3 for this great honor! 451 to 443! Your voice does matter and every vote counts…even the second time around!

FYI Kalispell Ward 3; the losing candidate for this race has petitioned for a recount. As of today it will be this Tuesday afternoon November 16th. The official canvass was 11/9/21 and the petition was submitted 11/10/21.

Montana Code Annotated 13-16-201; (a) A candidate for a precinct office or for a county municipal or district office voted for in only one county, other than a legislator or a judge of the district court, is defeated by a margin not exceeding 1/4 of 1% of the total votes cast for by a margin not exceeding 10 votes, which ever is greater, and the defeated candidate within five days after the official canvass, files with the election administrator a verified petition stating that the candidate believes that a recount will change the result and that a recount of the votes for the office or nomination should be conducted

Thank you Kalispell Ward Three!!!
Your voice does matter and every vote counts!
I'm excited for the future, and all the hard work to come.
It may be hard to believe, but I like work.
This reminds me of a story, I believe created the women I am:
"When I was a little girl, we had strict chores and were expected to help around the house. I was possibly 5 or 6. My dad told me I didn't do some job good enough, and to put a little elbow grease into it. I went under the sink where all the cleaning chemicals were, and looked and looked and couldn't find the elbow grease. My dad walked upon me and asked, what I was doing. I exclaimed, I was trying to find the elbow grease! He of course burst into friendly laughter, and explained what it was that he meant. I give my word, I've been adding elbow grease to everything since a small child. I'm not afraid of hard work."
