Whitefish is a great place to live. But who gets to live here?

For generations, Whitefish has been a place where people could work, raise their families and build a life. Today, that’s becoming harder for many of the people who keep this community going.

An estimated 50–70% of Whitefish’s workforce commutes into town every day, and of the 76 homes Habitat Flathead has built across the valley, only six have been in Whitefish.

We believe the people who work here should have the opportunity to live here, too, and put down roots, raise their families, and be part of the community beyond their workday.
That’s why we’re Grounded in Whitefish. Applications are now open for 3-bedroom townhomes in Whitefish, with more to come!
