Flathead County Economic Development Authority - Flathead County EDA, FCEDA FCEDA is Flathead County's strategy to prepare for economic development opportunities that might arise and require investment.

Flathead County Economic Development Authority is governed by seven Board members appointed by the County Commissioners. The philosophy of the FCEDA Board is to use the funds for projects that offer a strong return on investment to the communities and county in terms of jobs and a broader tax base. Montana West Economic Development provides the management and administration for the Authority.

FCEDA is incredibly excited to see CHS move the metal silos to eastern Montana where they will be put in to productive use. We are searching for a creative developer to do something useful with the six 111 year old concrete grain elevators that will be left standing on this 1.78 acre piece of prime real estate on Center, 5th Avenue West and the new pedestrian trail and linear park! The view from the top is priceless.

The grain silos will be taken down bolt by bolt and then reconstructed on a farm in eastern Montana.

A long list of Flathead County and Northwest Montana businesses have used these programs to leverage their private investment to create more jobs and grow businesses rapidly over the past two decades.

In just the past six years these financial and technical assistance programs have assisted more than 15,000 businesses and created or retained more than 12,000 jobs.

Our pro-business contingency from the Flathead should support the renewal at the same funding level of HB 52, Rep.Mark Noland, Rep. Derek Skees, Rep. Zac Perry, Rep. Matthew Keith Regier, Rep. I wanted to share this with all my friends who are veterans. This online webinar is free to any vet or spouse of a vet who signs up before March 20. It is a keynote about leadership and a 3 part workshop. It is open to the general public as well for $25. Looks like a great discussion about how to build leaders in any organization. Might be great if you are trying to build a business or a non-profit organization.
It is being promoted by Big Sky Economic Development in Billings.
