Here is more information on our next ride coming up on Saturday.

When - June 6, 2026
Where - Poverty
Meet - Hog Canyon entrance
Depart - 8:30am Utah time
Ride leader - Mike Reid
Rating - Advanced
Length - 35ish miles

This ride is listed as advanced for our jamboree but, in actuality, there are only a few spots that may cause a little anxiety for the less experienced drivers. Please don’t let this intimidate you into not joining in on this ride. Side x side drivers should have little difficulty, and ATV drivers may need a little help keeping the front end down in a couple of spots. This ride has some great views and a petroglyph panel that will require a short downhill climb to access.

Soooo much fun on the annual club Bain Swapp Memorial overnight ride this week! 18 rigs riding from Big Water to Escalante. The group split with each group taking a different route and taking the opposite route on the return trip the following day. 100 miles on one route, 80 miles on the other. Loved seeing Garfield County doing 10 miles of chip seal on the RS2477 Hole in the Rock road. A smaller group stayed a second night and rode north catching a bit of snow on the trail.

Do you ride the Swell? The BLM proposes re-opening some of the closed trails in the San Rafael Swell & Desert. Comments accepted until June 8th.

Hundreds of miles of OHV routes in Utah's San Rafael Swell and San Rafael Desert may be reopened under a new BLM alternative. BRC has been fighting these closures in court since 2025, and now the agency wants to hear from riders. Submit your comment in support of reopening these routes by June 8.
