She was found along route 6 between Kane and lantz corners, closer to Kane. If this is your dog or know who she might belong to, please contact PSP Lewis run barracks.

Please be aware and prepared. Be sure to have necessary supplies (coat, gloves, hat, blankets, etc.) in your vehicle for all occupants. Even a short amount of time that would require you to be outside your vehicle or wouldn’t be able to have the heater running (if your vehicle broke down or was involved in an accident) could be dangerous.

When moving cars for alternate parking, grace period is between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. please do not move your vehicles early. The street department is trying to keep up with the roads.

As a winter storm approaches our area, the Kane Borough Police Department wants to ensure residents know how to obtain assistance and stay informed.
The Kane Borough Police Department has been in contact with the McKean County Department of Emergency Services and the Mayor of Kane to coordinate response efforts related to this weather event.

🚨 Emergency & Assistance Requests
Citizens are directed to call 911 for all emergency situations and requests for assistance or 814-887-4911 for non emergency requests. Please note that there is not always someone monitoring the police department’s non-emergency phone line. When you call 911, dispatchers will take your information and relay it to the appropriate emergency or municipal resource. If the need arises for members of the community to relocate one of the schools will become available.
