The tsunami warning for Hawaii is cancelled and MCBH will resume normal operations.

2215: All evacuated personnel may return to their residences and continue to monitor the situation.

Please follow all instructions from law enforcement personnel as access routes are opened.

We appreciate your resilience, patience, and understanding during this emergency.

MCBH Tsunami Evacuation Order—
MCBH Commander has ordered the evacuation of the following areas aboard the installation:

Residents in housing along Fort Hase Beach including Faleafine Pl, Kekahuna Pl, Shimabukuro Pl, Cochran St, Dodson St, English St, Canney Pl, Philips Pl, Moses St, Arquero Pl, Lewis Ct, Hawkins St, Root Ct, Kapalu Pl, Irwin St, Kiaha Ct, Littler Ct, Meno Ct, Peleiholani Ct, Richardson Ct.

Marina and Outdoor Recreation to include surrounding parking lots.

All Westfield areas.

Move inland away from tsunami zones.

On 18 June 2025, 3d Radio Battalion bid fair winds and following seas to Lieutenant Colonel Gary A. Keefer, and welcomed Lieutenant Colonel Sean F. X. Barrett to the family.

Lieutenant Colonel Keefer was the Battalion Commander of 3d Radio Battalion for three years and will be retiring after this post.

Lieutenant Colonel Barrett is taking command of 3d Radio Battalion after serving consecutive assignments at I Marine Expeditionary Force G-2.
