Mals Warriors came out on top over Hercules with outstanding goalkeeping, a strong defensive back line, and elite speed up front. Their teamwork and determination throughout the season earned them the championship title.

Congratulations to Jose Barrera of FC Marfopac for claiming the Golden Boot Award! Jose finished as the season’s leading scorer and helped FC Marfopac secure a 3rd-place finish.

Great season, great competition, and an outstanding display of sportsmanship from all teams. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this year’s league!

Hello Community,

As we approach the unofficial start of summer, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your dedicated service this Memorial Day weekend. Your commitment means the world to us at youth sports.

We are actively seeking passionate coaches for this season, with a firm deadline of May 29th. It’s crucial that every team has a dedicated coach to guarantee that our programs are well-prepared and expertly guided. Here’s a clear outline of our coaching needs:
- **Soccer Coaches:**
- (3) 6U coaches
- (3) 8U coaches
- **Basketball Coaches:**
- (3) 6U coaches
- (4) 8U coaches
- (2) 10U coaches

Practices will kick off on July 20th, with the first game set for August 1st and the last game on September 19th. . I’m also pleased to offer a discount code for those interested—simply reach out to me at [email protected]. Remember, coaching doesn’t have to be a solo effort; multiple parents can coach together, especially if their children are on the same team.

Additionally, after an engaging discussion with Coach Koch, we are thrilled to announce that we are expanding the flag football skills and drills clinic to accommodate an extra 15 kids aged 8-12. This clinic will be available starting today, on June 1, 2, 4, and 5.

Please remember that registration for the summer season will close on June 19th, so don’t miss out on securing your spot!

But the WARR program was built around something bigger than that.

It’s about readiness, resiliency, and longevity.

WARR exists to educate and equip Marines with better knowledge of performance, recovery, movement, and durability so they can sustain high levels of output throughout their careers instead of constantly breaking down.

The goal isn’t just to create fitter Marines.

This week, we were honored to recognize Beach Lifeguard, Justin, with a Special Act Award for his heroic actions, rescuing two individuals at Pyramid Rock. Justin used knowledge and skills gained over the course of his 15 years of service as a lifeguard aboard MCBH.
