Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe is excited to introduce “REAL” JUSTICE, a new program giving kids the chance to explore, metal detect, and discover a little history along the way! This is the first step toward what we hope will become a much larger program next year!

🔎⛏️ A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY OUR JUSTICE ACADEMY'S METAL DETECTING EVENT! ⛏️🔎
The Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office Metal Detecting event was a hit with the students from the State’s Attorney’s Justice Academy's After-School Program! Our young participants had the opportunity to get outdoors, learn the basics of metal detecting, and enjoy the excitement of discovering what might be hidden around the ground. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore a new hobby, and create lasting memories!

A special THANK YOU to metal detecting enthusiast Dave Bickel for leading the event, sharing his knowledge, and helping make it such a fun and memorable experience for our Justice Academy students. Your time and enthusiasm made a difference!
