Limestone Township Fire Protection District

Limestone Township Fire Protection District The LTFPD is located in the Village of Limestone, Illinois in Kankakee County. The LTFPD is part of MABAS Division 7.

The LTFPD is a combination Fire Department that is staffed by Scheduled shift, Part Time and Paid on Call Personnel. The LTFPD covers over 50 square miles and has a population of approximately 7,000 residents. The LTFPD is staffed 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, by Firefighter/Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians. All personnel are Illinois Certified Firefighters and Licensed Emerge

ncy Medical Technicians or Paramedics. The LTFPD responds to approximately 1000 calls annually that include structural fires, brush and wildland fires, emergency medical, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous material releases, technical rescue and special services.
