Our Women United group had such a wonderful morning at Embrace Consignment for September’s EmpowHER Hour!

🎉 HAZZAH! Today we hit a HUGE milestone: 1,000 Kankakee County kids are now enrolled in our Dolly Parton's Imagination Library partnership, receiving a free book every month.

(This is on top of the 589 children enrolled in Iroquois County, and 259 children who have graduated since we launched last spring. 🎓)

This program is part of our larger Success By 6 goals, because we believe investing in early childhood = investing in a stronger future for our entire community. ❤️

Success By 6 is a joint effort of United Way and the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley, bringing partners together to help ensure our youngest neighbors have the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
