Revelation 8 6-13 the First Angel Sounds
Revelation 8:6. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

While we are down to the first life, which according to Isaiah 29: 22-23 is Jacob, these are things that can happen in all lives.
Isaiah 29: 22. Therefore this says the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.
23. But when he sees his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
The holy one of Jacob, was Jesus. The first lives probably began as hunter-gathers. They are besieged by damaging hail storms, which still happens today, and there is only one source of security and safety from such events, God, When storms threaten, not just us, but anywhere in the world, we should begin by asking God for protection and safety, for all threatened. Fire, which at the time I wrote this was a threat in the Southwest, is a danger anywhere there are dry conditions and high winds, again the only safety is found in God. When fires threaten, not just us, but anywhere in the world, we should begin by asking God for protection and safety, for all threatened. And to understand that if, as a result of our prayers, rain puts out the fires, God did it, because we cared enough to pray. If it did not rain and their homes were destroyed, it was because God records their lives and deals with them to remove any evil that comes to the forefront of their minds, during the fires, or floods, or tornados, or earthquakes or tsunamis. These are things that have been, they are also things that are, and also the things that will be, until all are taught to pray for their neighbor. Even if that neighbor is on the other side of the world.

8. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9. And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

When these trials and tribulations happen, each trial and tribulation is based on need, founded in the original sins or in current problems that come from how they have lived or are living their lives. Again the purpose of God is to teach and to reach down into their soul and pull out the hate, anger, resentment, and greed that drive them to disregard the welfare of their neighbor and family. And God, in the form of the Angels who walk among us, is suffering right alongside those who are being Justified. It is obvious that the world still has many souls failing to rise up to the standards set by Jesus, and who are not yet able to be trusted enough to be brought into the Kingdom.

10. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

That great star was not a soul, but the process of Justification. Better known as “judgment by God.”

11. And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

While this is written in Koine Greek we have to dip back into the Hebrew for a meaning. Strong’s #3939 pronounced laanah from an unused root meaning “to curse;” wormwood; the original meaning is “to drink of satisfaction around here” meaning retribution, or revenge, i.e Justification, as I explained above.
The verse means that at least a third of the world was undergoing judgment for sins, and the water they had “created” was extremely bitter, even to the point of death.

12. And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

God is the “light of the world” so the sun and moon are a parable for God. Since a third of the world is undergoing retribution for their sins, God does not shine in their lives.

13. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!”

Revelation 8 3-5 Angels at the Altar
3. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

If you noticed, this verse begins with an angel standing at the altar. The purpose of an altar was to barbecue the meat sacrifice for the worshipers to consume. The purpose of the incense was the same then as it is today, it had nothing to do with worshiping God. The Temple was a slaughter house, a butcher shop, and a barbecue restaurant. The Levites did an efficient job of keeping the place clean, but in that day and age, it was impossible to keep enough water flowing to cleanse all the flesh, blood, and guts from the stone floors and walls. As a result, the smell of rotting flesh was over powering. There were no fly repellent sprays to spray after the day’s work of slaughtering and butchering, so there had to be some way of masking the horrible odor for the sake of the Levites and to stop attracting flies, that was the purpose of the incense. It was equivalent to the modern day methods of striking a match after using the commode or spraying a deodorizer. God’s Angel and the incense, here represents those who have been purified who are being called to join together to work and watch over the souls who are to be cleansed. John is attempting two things here, one, to instill a need to pray for those who suffer into the hearts of those who have converted to Christianity. Two, to indicate that the altar is an altar of sacrifice and that an Angel with the “incense” was there to make sure it “smelled” good. That is found today, in, “Why did God allow this earthquake to happen?” “All things work together for good.” (Romans 8:28) That is “incense.” Because most folks ignore the qualifier that follows, “to them, that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Remember the 4 reasons people suffer apply in every situation, 1. Justice, 2. Law, 3. compassion, and 4. Innocence. In any natural disaster, it is a “dukes mixture” of reasons and we do not have the ability or the knowledge to apply them to each individual who we see suffering. God is the only one who knows, and He is the only one who should know. Our job is to pray, to express our concerns for those who are suffering to God, and ask Him to draw upon His infinite resources to give aid and comfort to those in need, then we are to do what is in our power to help where we can. Which leads us to the next verse.

4. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

The smoke represents the affirmative prayers of the Saints to the Angels call. Where there is smoke, there is fire. “Saints” as used in the New Testament, it is not a reference to someone who has gone through the process of being named a “saint” by the Catholic Church. Saints were simply people who had converted to Christianity and were undergoing Justification.

5. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

The fire represents the “fire of Jesus” the trials and testing that are required by God for those souls who walk the earth, in order to cleanse their souls. The four reasons for sufferings takes over, for as they have done, God will do to them, and the verse indicates Lightning and Earthquakes, which are signs of troubles and woes, not blessings which would fit all those encountering Justification. Those who have been cleansed and are in the Kingdom become Angels and are given the power to bring the fire that Jesus spoke of, to use to test the hearts of the souls being sanctified. The power of that fire to disturb even the hardest of hearts is symbolized by the loud voices, the frightening sound of mighty thunder, the power of lightening to split the coldest hardest rocks, and an earthquake to split the coldest of hearts. Where we have been is where Jesus started, where Jesus is now, is where we will be, together with Him in the Kingdom of God.

Proof of God 61 Revelation 8 1-2 The Seventh Seal
Interpreting the Bible
The key to understanding Revelation comes in chapter 1: 19. Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

This is the key to all prophecy. God is unchanging, the God who threw Adam out of Eden, is the God who brought the Babylonians down upon the Israelites, is the God who brought Jesus into the world, is the God who had Jesus crucified, He is unchanging. The God of 4,000 years ago is the God of today, and He will be the same God 4,000 years from today. The souls that God is dealing with, are in a constant state of change, because of their interaction with God in their every day lives. God had to do what He did 4,000 years ago to make this world a better place to live. He had to do the same things 2,000 years ago for the same reason. He is still working hard at completing His work in a detailed effort to make this world a perfect place to live, and He will not give up. This heaven is where we will spend eternity. Which is explained in the last chapters of Revelation.
If someone who has seen God face to face and has the wisdom to understand what they are seeing, by simply writing what they have seen, they are writing the future, and this is so proven in Revelation, because almost every generation since its writing, has been convinced that they were living in the times mentioned in Revelation, and they were, they were a 100% accurate. They just did not understand that it is a continuing process until every soul that can be saved, is saved. God is not willing that any should be lost, but many will be lost, because even after seeing God face to face, they will not accept Him.

Revelation 8: 1. And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Here in chapter 8, Jesus is in the presence of the original 24 Angels who united to create the one God and has, for the first time, been given access to the scroll of His lives. Here Jesus opens the seventh seal, which represents the first life of His soul at the end of Abraham’s life Those souls began coming out for their first view of earth as humans, in thousands of years. While the seal was put in place at the end of Abraham’s life, it applies to the past 4,000 years because of the amount of time required to cleanse and purify a soul and the billions of souls who were in need of cleansing. At this point in time, all the souls who were thrown into the pit have had at least their first time on earth since the flood. Almost all have had three lives or more.

2. And I saw the seven angels, which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

There are 2 Hebrew words for trumpet Strong’s #2689 pronounced chatsotserah. Strong gives it a meaning of, “sundered or quavering note.” The original meaning is “keep, beautiful, again, creating, here.” The second is Strong’s #3104 pronounced yowbel, Strong gives it a meaning of “the blast of a horn,” the original meaning was, “life starts a woman, to drink” which would reference a horn announcing a marriage. The Hebrew word for #7782, showphar, which was a ram’s horn, Strong gives it a meaning of; “incising a clear sound, a coronet”. The original meaning is, “to return, to begin, purifying, creation.” Just as the blowing of a trumpet or showphar was to signal the soldiers of the Children of Israel to advance upon their enemy and remove the evil hordes from their land, also the trumpet was blown to call the sinners to the Temple to offer sacrifice and be forgiven for their sins. They were also used to announce a marriage. John is using it here to signal the coming of a cleansing woe to try evil souls and cleanse them of their sins. There were seven woes or trumpets to face upon their release from the bottomless pit.

Revelation 7 13 –17
The book is called the Revelation of Jesus, because that is what it is about, and taking parts of two chapters out to deal with is impossible unless they are taken from my commentary of the whole book, which is what I have done here. And since they are taken this way, I will attempt to fill in missing information, where necessary.

13. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and from where did they come?
14. And I said unto him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
The “great tribulation” is Justification and it has nothing to do with a “seven year period” after the “Rapture.” The “great tribulation” is what God uses to find the normal human’s “desire to sin.” Once God finds it, He destroys it, and replaces it with good, love, forgiveness, and compassion, and when every last bit has been found, That soul is sanctified, remade into the perfect image of Jesus, and becomes His brother or sister in the Kingdom of God.
Most historical scholars believe this refers to those who were being persecuted by the ruling authority at the turn of the first century. But it looks beyond the first century into modern day Chad, Sudan, China, etc. The point is that there is a purpose behind the judgment and persecution. Those who go through it will find themselves face to face with God to be rewarded with love and acceptance most who write about Revelation don’t understand that all of our troubles, come from God, in His search for evil in our world, so that He can destroy it so it will never happen again, at least from that same soul..

15. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.

Most scripture commentators, never touch on God among us, then they have no knowledge of the millions of angels walking among us, so they are totally clueless in dealing with the subject.
It is easy to create this picture by placing God upon a throne, and considering the concept that people had of “one” God, then He could only be sitting on “one” throne, in “one” place. But God is not that easy to position.
How many “Ford Motor Companies are there? Simple “one.”
How many IBMs are there? Simple “one.”
How many GEs are there? Simple “one.”
However each “one” has thousands of buildings and thousands of employees that make up those “one” companies.
They are good parables for God. There are billions of living angels who are tied together into one God through the Holy Spirit. They cover the entire world, sometimes serving, sometimes being served. It is impossible to be anywhere on this planet and not be close to an angel of God who represents the “one” living God. If you are chosen to see God “face to face.” The face of God that you see will be different from the “face of God” that will be revealed to the next person so chosen. Another amazing thing is that the face of the angel you see will also be the face of Jesus, because that angel was remade into the spitting image of Jesus. God looks on the inside, not the outside.
The second coming of Jesus is a personal, one on one experience. We are told in Revelation 1, that “every eye will see Him,” and they will, but not at the same moment in time, because the “second coming” is a personal, one on one experience. They will rise one morning, go to the bathroom and Jesus will be looking back at them from their own bathroom mirror, because God will have turned them into a perfect spiritual image of Jesus, in their heart. They will know it’s coming long before it happens, because this is not something that happens in the “wink of an eye.” It takes decades, as well as centuries. What happens in the “wink of an eye” is the realization that God is listening to your thoughts, which is what the word “Amen” means.

16. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

Those who are in Sheol which is the Hebrew word usually translated as “the grave,” or “hell” it refers to souls who are in the spiritual realm, they have no need of food, nor water, they feel no sun light nor its heat. However, as the 23rd Psalm says, “ yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,” death is but a shadow. It is not a permanent state of nonbeing. We reside in Sheol temporarily, until God finds us a new family, for us to reside in, and resurrects us into His service. We will not hunger and thirst, because we will then be part of the “body of God,” knowing (not just believing) that God will take care of us, through every day, and in every way.

17. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Tears are a human body function, not found in the spirit world. The living fountains of water represents God’s ability to reverse the process by which He removes a soul from an earthly body and returns the parts of it He needs, a little at a time, into the baby of His choosing, just as He did with the soul of Elijah by putting it into the baby who became John the Baptist. John did not know he was Elijah, but Jesus did. Matt 11:12-14, Mk 9:11-13. Once everyone has been spiritually remade into perfect spiritual images of Jesus, there will be no more tears, for God will have taken away all the trials and tests from our lives, which are what brings on the tears. Death will be no more, because we will know we are going to live forever.
The book is called “the Revelation of Jesus,” because that is what it is about. It reveals seven lives of the soul of Jesus, before He became Jesus.

Revelation 7: 9. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

During and after Moses, people of all nations, races, people and tongues were to be accepted into the family of God. Once accepted into the Hebrew family, they would of course, be subjected to Justification as a work of the Law, and would be ready to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, after Jesus came.

Ex 12: 48. And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49. One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.

(i.e. the stranger will honor and be judged with the same laws.)
On their return from Babylon, Ezra did what he could to put an end to this, but when Jesus came, this policy of converting the gentiles was resurrected with Jesus.

Revelation 7:10. And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

The “Lamb” of course represents Jesus in the presence of God, after His ascension. The “salvation” is “from” our God, not “to” our God. We can’t save God, He has to save us.

11. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12. Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen.

After Jesus’ ascension there were converts coming from all nationalities and races, going through Justification and reaching the state of perfection known as Sanctification, that is, being totally remade into the perfect image of Jesus. Becoming perfectly willing to pick up a “cross,” that will serve the people they come in contact with, on this Earth, to help them also make it through Justification and to join Jesus in the Kingdom of God. All of them who have been sanctified are ready, willing, and able to serve God in order to help

Revelation 7: 1. And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

It is amazing to me that people do not believe that an all powerful God, does not, and cannot control the weather. Jesus called upon God to calm the storm and it ceased. Elijah called on the Lord to withhold rain and it did not rain for 3 ½ years. He called upon God to bring the rain, and it came. The sad part is that the leaders of our churches don’t believe it. Recently we have been visited with a record number of tornados entire small cities have been wiped out, but amazingly most of the people survived. The number of deaths was surprisingly low. In one town, only a church was left standing. Today’s pastor will say that this is not an “act of God,” because it does not fit the image they have of “their God.”
God is unchanging. The God who brought down the walls of Jericho, is the same God who allowed the tsunami to hit Japan in 2011. Nothing happens in this world that God does not cause or allow to happen. Contrary to popular opinion, God controls everything about this Earth, including the weather. This is spelled out again and again in the Bible, but most Christians refuse to accept that as the fact, it is.

Revelation 7: 2. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

The four angels mentioned in verse 1, the ones who are being commanded by the fifth angel here, represent God’s power over the four corners of the world, normally named North, East, South, and West. Referencing the fact that God is all powerful, and omnipresent no matter where you might find yourself.

3. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

The servants of God are His angels. Remember the war that was going on in Heaven between the one God and the freelance angels of that time. Sealing means the seven spirits of God have had their time with them. The souls of those angels had been sanctified and are pure and committed to serving the one God.

4. And I heard the number of them, which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

The scripture that follows is a listing of those who had been sanctified in each tribe of Israel.
There are two problems in the naming of the tribes. One, the tribe of Dan is missing from the list, as is the tribe of Ephraim, which was named after the second son of Joseph. Two, there is a tribe of Joseph, the tribe that would have been named after Joseph, was split in two and named after Joseph’s sons Manasseh and Ephraim. Levi, which is named, was an invisible tribe. Levites were to be priests of God and were not to be recognized as a tribe. Manasseh was to replace Joseph and Ephraim was to replace Levi, thereby making 12 tribes. This draws to question the knowledge of the author, although I know from experience that one can be well versed, knowledgeable and in the Spirit of God and still make mistakes. This appears to be just that, a mistake.

5. Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

The first thing to remember about this scripture is that there were no such things as accurate numbers as they were written in the Old Testament. The same is true of the Koine Greek of the New Testament. This list represents the author’s guesstimate of the number of souls from each tribe who had been sanctified at the time of Jesus. In other words, the number of angels who were walking among the tribes of Israel while Jesus was alive. The period during which the earth was not to be hurt represents the period of time God required to get these 144,000 angels committed to serving the one God, who were family members of the Children of Israel. That period of time was approximately from Moses until Jesus. The purpose of the scripture is not to give an accurate number for the angels in the children of Israel, but indicate that God had been hard at work within the Children of Israel and that he had, despite the problems He faced, God had been successful.

Once everyone has been spiritually remade into perfect images of Jesus, there will be no more tears, for God will have taken away all the trials and tests from our lives, which are what brings on the tears. Death will be no more, because we will know we are going to live forever, one life at a time.

Revelation 6:14-16
14. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

The “mountains” represent the leaders or gods that they are told about before they were taught about God. “Island” represents their former position of isolation from God and from the knowledge of God. Their country or tribe, was an “island” separated and cut off from the true God.
This was the time of Jacob. The sixth seal, rests upon the lifetime of Jacob, the second spirit of God and the soul of Jesus’ second life of Justification upon this Earth.

15. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Those in the second spirit know nothing of God or the fact that He controls all these things, and since they can’t control them, they live in fear of all the power they see demonstrated

16. And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

The leaders, rulers, chiefs, of those souls in their second spirit or second life, are over whelmed with the power and terror that they find all around them as the earth shakes and spews forth magma, leads them to search for a hole or cave to hide in, as they seek to find safety from the unseen power that is greater than they and is destroying their world.

Revelation 6:9-13

Revelation 6: 9. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony, which they held:

The fifth seal represents the third “horn”, the third spirit of God or the soul of Jesus’ third life here on Earth, which was as Moses. So all the souls under the altar would be the children of Israel, all of the jeues (jews) and this verse refers to all of the trials and tribulations that they have experienced over the centuries.

10. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Of course that is what has been taking place every day, as everyone else goes through justification, that have happened, every one must learn to treat others the way they want to be treated, and God is not willing that any should be lost.

11. And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed, as they (the souls under the altar) were, should be fulfilled.

Moses represented the souls who have been persecuted, beaten and killed while they were slaves in Egypt.. It is written based upon Jesus in the third spirit of God or His third life, which is the fifth seal upon this book. Here the soul that became Jesus was Moses from Exodus.
The “altar” means that the souls under the “altar” were martyrs for God. The innocents, those who gave their lives to aid God in His struggle to cleanse the world of evil, they are the souls pictured “under the altar.” These we do not see in the Bible, but they were there, just as they are here today and go unrecognized for their good works.

12. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

The sixth seal represents the second spirit of God or the soul of Jesus’ second life here on Earth, which was Jacob.

13. And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree castes her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

The stars represent the angels of God falling to earth means the angels no longer dwell up there, but live here on earth, side by side with us, they have no wings, and we see them as relatives and neighbors, just ordinary people, living ordinary lives.

14. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

The sixth seal represents the second soul, which occurred at a time when the soul was flooded with fears. Having little knowledge of God, and beset by natural disasters of every kind, which were the plagues brought upon Egypt. This is the time when the “stars” of Heaven, that is, the stars of the Bible are brought down and introduced to them as they begin to learn the wisdom and knowledge of God.
The “mountains” represent the leaders or gods that they are told about before they were taught about God. “Island” represents their former position of isolation from God and from the knowledge of God. Their country or tribe, was an “island” separated and cut off from the true God.
This was the time of Jacob. The sixth seal, rests upon the lifetime of Jacob, the second spirit of God and the soul of Jesus’ second life upon this Earth.

15. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
