The Kannapolis Juneteenth Celebration will take place this Thursday at Veterans Park from 12 to 5 pm. Come out and celebrate the day freedom reached our enslaved ancestors in 1865. This year's guest speaker is our very own Bro. Edison McCrea. Come out for a day of community fellowship sprinkled with inspiration, food, and fun.

🎓 Congratulations to Our 2024 - 2025 Scholarship Recipients! 🎓

On Sunday, April 27th, the BEC proudly awarded scholarships to eight outstanding high school seniors! 💫

These students were recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, community service, and resilience in the face of challenges.

Each recipient was awarded either $500 or $1,000 to support their continued education. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what their futures hold! 🌟
