Please see information below regarding an Active Shooter Training Exercise that will take place on Monday, September 21st at HMS and PHS. This a Teacher In-Service Day and school is NOT in session so there will be no students involved. Thank you!

Please see attached memo from Chief Kirkendoll regarding an upcoming training exercise taking place on Monday, September 21st, 2026 at Penney High School.

As stated, there is NO active threats toward our community or schools, this is merely an opportunity for many local agencies to work together through a simulation to strengthen their skills.

Hamilton R-II School District welcomes Mrs. Allison Ford as Part-Time Middle School Library Aide for the 2026-2027 school year.

Mrs. Ford has been a member of the Hamilton school and community for more than thirty years. She retired from teaching high school language arts in 2022 but has continued to work in the district as a substitute teacher.

"I am excited to be in the middle school library and look forward to another great year in the Hamilton school district. Go Hornets!"
