๐ŸŽ“โ˜€๏ธ Summer Break Safety Tips for College Students โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽ“

As summer break begins, remember to stay safe while enjoying time with friends, traveling, working, or relaxing. Here are a few important tips to keep in mind:

๐Ÿ”’ Protect Your Belongings
Lock your doors, vehicles, and secure valuables whether youโ€™re at home, traveling, or staying on campus.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Be Aware Online
Avoid sharing your live location or vacation plans publicly on social media.

๐Ÿš— Travel Smart
Always let someone know your plans, avoid distracted driving, and never drive impaired.

๐Ÿ’ง Stay Hydrated & Beat the Heat
Summers can get extremely hot & humidโ€” drink plenty of water and avoid staying in the sun too long.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Stick With Friends
Whether at concerts, beaches, or events, stay with people you trust and look out for one another.

โš ๏ธ Trust Your Instincts
If a situation feels unsafe, leave immediately and contact local authorities if needed.

๐ŸŽ‰ Celebrate Responsibly
Make smart decisions, know your limits, and never leave drinks unattended.

Have a safe, fun, and memorable summer break! ๐ŸŒดโ˜€๏ธ

KCKCC PD along with other local agencies participated in the Battle Of The Badges Kickball Tournament.

Together, we were able to raise over $1700 for Special Olympics Kansas.

It was a great team building activity for a good cause.

We appreciate all the friends, families, and College staff that came out to support us!

Thanks to the Prairie Village Police Department and Johnson County Park Police for helping the cause.

Now it's time for some ibuprofen and an ice pack ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
