Two decades ago, as the nation reeled from the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, a unique team of search and rescue Soldiers put their training to work at the Pentagon when they were needed the most.

Years later, the unit was renamed the 911th Technical Rescue Engineer Company for its efforts that day.

"They are prepared 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year to respond on our nation's darkest day." ➡️ https://go.usa.gov/xMa6p

“We set up... and started seeing patients the same night.”

In support of , health clinics across Germany volunteered medical experts to help with patient care requirements of evacuees at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany.

For more than a week, Army Pfc. Caleb Jones, a healthcare specialist assigned to Baumholder Army Health Clinic, has volunteered to support medical operations at Ramstein Air Base.

“I was born in Vietnam, so I understand what they are pursuing,” said Jones, who was adopted by an American family when he was only a toddler.

“That could have been me in their shoes. So I take [the mission] personal, and every patient who I see, I give it 101 percent to help them.”
