🌟 **Welcome Back, Prairie Point Families!** 🌟

We are so excited to welcome everyone back for another school year on **Monday, August 24!** It was wonderful seeing so many families at Kindergarten Parent Orientation and Back to School Night. A special shout-out to our amazing PTA for sponsoring the Ice Cream Truck! 🍦

A few reminders and tips to help make the first day go smoothly:

🏫 **First Day Only:** Parents may walk their child to their classroom on Monday. After dropping off your child, consider joining PTA in the LMC for a quick snack and an opportunity to meet other parents!

🚫 **After the First Day:** Parents will not be able to walk students into the building.

🏷️ **Help Us Get Your Child to the Right Classroom:** Please send your child with a **note or sticker showing their first and last name AND their teacher’s name.** Put it somewhere easy to see, such as on their shirt or backpack. This will help our staff quickly get every child where they need to go on Day 1!

💛 **Keep Goodbyes Positive:** A confident, cheerful goodbye can help ease first-day nerves—even when everyone is feeling a little nervous!

⏰ **Give Yourself Extra Time:** The first morning may take a little longer than usual as everyone gets settled. A few extra minutes can help start the day calmly.

🎒 **Label Belongings:** Please make sure backpacks, water bottles, lunch boxes, and other items are labeled with your child’s name.

Most importantly, remind your child that **we are excited to see them, we are ready to help them, and they are going to have a wonderful year!**

We can't wait to see everyone Monday! 💙💛

**Welcome back, Prairie Point!** 🎉
