The city refuses to answer questions about how the proposed closure of Walnut or Baltimore for this park will affect streetcar operations. Any delays caused by shifting traffic onto Main Street will affect the entire system -- including service to the Riverfront and Plaza.
Tell the Council you object to closing streets until they determine that this project will Do No Harm to streetcar!
Kansas City is poised to contribute $10 million to the South Loop Link project. Backers hope to raise more $115 million for the four-block park by year’s end.
