Kindergarten families are invited to join us for our Kindergarten Teacher Reveal on TOMORROW, September 1 at 9:00 AM! Students should arrive at school and head to class as normal that morning. Later, Kindergarten students will come to the gym with their classmates for the Teacher Reveal. Families attending the event should stop by the check-in table upon arrival before joining us in the gym. Following the reveal, students will return to class with their classmates and will not be dismissed to leave with their families.

What a week! Our teachers put in a LOT of work before that first bell ever rang—from professional development and Meet the Teacher to Convocation and all the behind-the-scenes prep that makes a new school year possible.

And now… we’re officially underway! 🏴‍☠️🧡

🧡🖤 2️⃣0️⃣ THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS # 1️⃣7️⃣: At PCR-3, we promote Real World Learning (RWL) to support student growth by enhancing connections inside and outside of the classroom. We provide meaningful, relevant, and valuable experiences (from guest speakers to dual credit opportunities to internships), to help students be highly informed about opportunities beyond graduation. Platte County High School students are afforded many on- and off-campus opportunities to explore various paths aligned to potential future careers. 🧡🖤 2️⃣0️⃣ THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS # 1️⃣3️⃣: Bus routes for the 2026-27 school year are now available on the District website under the Departments channel, Transportation page: www.plattecountyschooldistrict.com/departments/transportation. All parents were emailed letters last Friday to confirm their student's transportation plans, as well as bus route and times. If you have changes, please use the transportation change form linked in that email. If you have questions about bus routes, please call the Transportation Department at 816-858-4820. 🚌🛣️

📚✨ Meet the Teacher Night is Thursday, August 20, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Come meet your teachers, drop off school supplies, and cool off with a treat from the Kona Ice Truck! 🍧

Before attending, please make sure your 2026–27 re-enrollment has been completed.

Can’t make it? No worries! Parents will be able to walk their students to class on the first day of school.

We can’t wait to welcome our Pirates back for another amazing year! 🏴‍☠️🧡🖤
