We were honored to welcome Congressman Emanuel Cleaver to Kingswood for an engaging conversation with our residents. Together, they discussed important topics impacting Kansas City and beyond, including updates on our district, Medicare and related issues, the exciting impact of hosting the World Cup, ageism, and the role faith plays in his responsibilities as a public servant.

We’re grateful for Congressman Cleaver’s time and willingness to connect with our community!

☀️🧺 Summer Picnic - Kingswood Style! 🌻

The Kingswood Women’s Auxiliary gathered for a summer picnic with air conditioning and absolutely no bugs!

Our kitchen team served up the perfect picnic lunch, complete with all the flavors of summer. 👏🍓

After lunch, the group enjoyed a Name That Tune game featuring classic summer songs, followed by table conversations about favorite childhood summer memories- from learning how to ride a bike and family vacations to those tried-and-true family tricks for treating bug bites and bee stings. 🐝🚲☀️

Good food, great memories, and plenty of laughter made for a perfect summer afternoon at Kingswood! ❤️

Our Kingswood Senior Living Community Jam Band is a talented group of resident musicians who come together to share their love of music and the joy it brings. Featuring vocalists, violin, ukulele, and autoharp, these remarkable ladies fill the room with beautiful melodies, laughter, and friendship. 🎻 🎹🪕

Whether performing familiar favorites or simply enjoying the experience of making music together, they remind us that it's never too late to learn, create, and share your gifts.

We are so grateful for the talent, enthusiasm, and heart they bring to our community. ❤️

🇺🇸 Red, white, & blue never looked so good!💥

Residents celebrated Independence Day at our festive Fourth of July Happy Hours, showing off their patriotic spirit in their favorite red, white, and blue attire. The celebration was made even more special with a wonderful patriotic performance by our Bell Choir, filling the afternoon with music, smiles, and community.
