🎶🎤 Introducing Choir Club! 🎤🎶

We’re excited to welcome our newest program, Choir Club, led by retired music teacher Mike! 🎵

We’re so lucky to have him sharing his love of music and helping our residents find their voices. Mike has already been such a wonderful addition, and we’re having so much fun singing together!

Choir Club meets every other Wednesday, and we have a big goal in mind… performing for our fellow residents here in October! 🎤✨

🎨✨ Nelson-Atkins Museum – Part 2! ✨🎨

We had another wonderful day last week exploring the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art! Our residents enjoyed discovering even more incredible artwork, learning new things, and taking in all the beauty the museum has to offer.

And we’re not done yet! We’ll be heading back in September for Part 3 – the final visit! 🎉

Once we finish our September visit, we can officially say we’ve explored the entire museum! 🙌🎨 What an adventure it has been! ❤️

🐾❤️ We LOVE when our therapy pet, Pattie, comes to visit! She brings so many smiles, cuddles, and happy moments to our residents. 🥰🐶 There’s just something special about a visit from Pattie! ❤️

🍉🧪 Watermelon vs. Rubber Bands! 🧪🍉

We put our science skills to the test! Our residents made predictions and then we added rubber bands one by one to see how many it would take before the watermelon finally broke! 😲🍉

⛪️❤️ Full house for church service today! We had a wonderful turnout, beautiful fellowship, and some truly wonderful singing! 🎶🙏 It was a beautiful way to spend the day together!

🎷✨ Jazz, history & a great day out! ✨🎷

We had a wonderful field trip to the American Jazz Museum on Thursday! Our residents enjoyed lunch, listened to live jazz music, and walked around the museum learning about the rich history of jazz and the incredible musicians who helped shape it. 🎶❤️

💰 We had a wonderful time exploring the Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City! Our residents enjoyed learning about the history of U.S. currency, seeing millions of dollars on display, lifting a 27-pound gold bar, and discovering how money is made and protected. 🏦✨

Our Once Upon a Time Dance this past Sunday was truly a magical evening! 💃🕺 Residents and their families came together to enjoy wonderful live music and dance the night away.

Everyone was dressed to impress, and it was heartwarming to see loved ones sharing smiles, laughter, and a few twirls on the dance floor. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so memorable. We can't wait to do it again! 💙
