Check out our SITE Scholars!

Select Great Jobs KC's Skills Training Scholars are training with Social Impact, Engineering, and Technology (SITE) in construction pre-apprenticeship training opportunities. Participants selected were enrolled in a six-day residential construction pre-apprenticeship program and will leave earning a certificate in OSHA 10.

Earlier this summer, some of our Scholars got together to reflect on the past semester and see some faces they may not see on their daily walks around campus. We love any excuse to get our KC Scholars family together, and with the next semester just around the corner, we can't wait for more!

Selene, an Adult Learner Scholarship recipient, recently ran into staff around town! While at Equal Minded Cafe, Selene reconnected with some of our Scholar Support Specialists and shared recent life updates.

We love seeing our Scholars in the community!

Early this summer, we hosted our Adult Learner Orientations for our newest cohort to help them acclimate to their program! We had a day full of learning that ended with sessions for Advocate support. Thank you to our ProX Summer interns for helping us with this event and welcoming our Scholars!
