🔍 Watch for common scams impacting business owners, including those highlighted in the 2026 “Dirty Dozen” list.
🔐 Protect your business and employees with updated anti‑virus software, strong passwords, and multi‑factor authentication.
🌐 Only enter sensitive data on secure websites (https).
🎓 Educate employees on data security using trusted resources like IRS Identity Theft Central.
🆔 Keep your Employer Identification Number (EIN) secure and up to date.
🚩 Report suspicious IRS or tax‑related activity through the new IRS fraud reporting webpage as soon as possible.
