There is a wonderful new addition to the Berkley Riverfront and it’s called Rivercloud. Part of Kansas City’s One Percent for Art program, Rivercloud was created by sculptor and public artist Ben Butler. Here’s The Kansas City Star story highlighting the arrival of Kansas City’s newest sculpture yesterday overlooking the Missouri River.

At two tons, the abstract powder-blue sculpture — created from thin layers of curvilinear steel sheets — is the latest in a growing number of public art pieces now overlooking the Missouri River at Kansas City’s Berkley Riverfront Park.
