East High School opened as a primarily agricultural school in 1925 and operated as a high school until the late 1990s. During the 2007-2008 school year East Elementary School was housed at East High School serving grades K-8. Its athletic teams have been known as the Aggies, Ducks and Gazooks. Home of the Bears today, East serves 1100 students in grades 9-12. We have 31 different spoken languages

and a very diverse population. Our diversity sets us apart from other schools in the district. Our most recent addition was the merging of East and R.J. Delano during the 2011-2012 school year. We challenge our students to be excellent leaders and academic achievers. Our motto here at East is "High Expectations, NO Excuses!"
