The goal of the Community Developmental Disabilities Organization (CDDO) is to provide uniform access to services for persons with developmental disabilities through service coordination with affiliate agencies and other providers regardless the severity of the disability. CDDO have locally developed policies and procedures that guide them. Bef

ore you can access services or supports you must be found eligible. To be eligible you must meet the MR/DD definition as outlined by the State of Kansas. Services: Case Management, Residential, Day, Home Health, and FMS payroll/billing.

What is EPSDT? EPSDT provides comprehensive and preventive health care services. It provides screening and services at medically appropriate times. It also provides medically necessary health care services, even if the service is not available under the Kansas Medicaid plan. KanBeHealthy/EPSDT work hand-in-hand to provide appropriate services for children and youth

Who is covered by KanBeHealthy/EPSDT? Kan-Be-Healthy/EPSDT is for Medicaid eligible children and youth until they turn 21 years old, including foster care children/youth.

Children under age 21 who are enrolled in an HCBS waiver program are also entitled to all EPSDT screening, diagnostic, and treatment services.

• Intensive In-Home Services
• Respite Services
• Mobile Crisis Response and Stabilization Services
• Residential crisis stabilization provides intensive short term
• Flex Funds (Customized Goods and Services)
• Trauma-Informed Systems and Evidence-Based Treatments Addressing Trauma
• Other Home and Community-Based Services States have also developed service definitions for a variety of additional home and community[1]based services that have proven to be important for children and youth with mental health conditions to be successful in the community. This includes: mentoring, supported employment for older youth, and consultative services. These types of services may be provided through 1915(c) waivers and the 1915(i) program.
