Hey folks, the KC area is putting together a regional whole blood program for our helicopters and ambulance crews. This program is being coordinated by the Mid America Regional Council (MARCER). We will be holding out first blood drive event on October 25th (see link for location and details). Our first goal is to increase the donor pool and second to identify O+ Donors that could become part of our walking donor pool. As we progress through this regional whole blood program we will identify key areas in the metro to place O+whole blood on the streets and in aircraft locally. ALL BLOOD TYPES ARE WANTED AT THIS DRIVE.
