Why Thunder Run? The whole idea is to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes because:
It's the leading cause of kidney failure, adult blindness, non-traumatic amputations, strokes and heart attacks!
It's also the sixty-leading cause of death in the U.S.

Having Type 1 Diabetes is scary! It takes multiple injections of insulin daily or a continuous infusion of insulin through a pump.

This is no fun for anyone.. particularly a child.

This is a great opportunity to raise money for the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation! (JDRF)
Go for a ride and be a part of something bigger!
