Today, our students got to “spring forward” to the next grade level. There is excitement for next year already, but we are soaking up our last two days of this school year! 💙

Today, we are throwing it back to memories of our Spring Conferences, where March Mammal Madness came to life.

Our specials team turned learning into an immersive showcase for students and families to enjoy. Every grade had a role in the magic.

•Kindergarten learned about and practiced audience basics.
•1st Grade learned about the French composer, Camille Saint-Siens, that composed music inspired by animal sounds and personalities.
•2nd grade researched biomes and designed sketches.
•3rd grade researched the animals and created postcards to inform others in the community about March Mammal Madness.
•4th grade brought the second grade sketches to life for the light display.
•5th grade brought the animals to life by creating life size silhouettes for the light display.

Thank you to our specials team and our students for creating such a memorable experience for our school family and community.

Yesterday was a big day for our fourth graders! They had the opportunity to meet and learn from Neville Miller from KMBC 9 News. They were even featured on the news last night. Thank you Neville Miller KMBC for coming to Liberty Oaks!
