Our girls showed UP this year.

In a city where the odds are stacked against young women in typically underestimated communities, our scholars outpaced the majority of their peers nationally in academic growth:

📊 Math growth: 74th percentile nationally
📖 Reading growth: 62nd percentile nationally
🔬 Science growth: 58th percentile nationally

These aren't just numbers. They're proof that when you build a school specifically for young women — with high expectations, deep support, and a community that believes in them — they exceed every expectation.

Next stop: High School!

Today was such an emotional, high-energy day at KCGPA for our End of Year Awards and High School Signing Day. Watching our scholars officially take the stage and announce their next chapters was an absolute core memory.

To make the day even more unforgettable, 8th grader Neveah completely blew us away with an incredible end-of-year speech that left the entire room inspired (and maybe a little teary-eyed).

We are immensely proud of these leaders. The future looks so bright, and we know this sisterhood is going to do big things!

Today, our scholars absolutely crushed it at our Temple Made Fitness field day! From over-the-head bucket challenges to beauty art stations—plus a pizza and ice cream celebration to finish it off—the energy was incredible.

The last week of school energy is officially unmatched.

The halls are buzzing, the summer countdown is in the single digits, and we are soaking in all the bittersweet feelings of wrapping up an incredible year together.

From our 8th graders preparing for promotion to our youngest scholars looking back at how much they've grown, we couldn't be prouder of this sisterhood. Let’s make these final days count!

Our girls ran the pitch yesterday and we could NOT be more proud.

HUGE thank you to for sending Kayla Sharples and Ellie Bravo-Young to train with our 7th graders. You showed our scholars what it looks like to be a professional, powerful woman in this city. And to thank you for the 150+ donation items that sent every single one of our girls home with something to celebrate.

Shoutout to our NJHS scholars who packed every bag with care, and to every girl who stepped on that mini pitch and gave it everything she had. That’s the KCGPA way.

We are so grateful for partners who believe in what our girls can become.
